This was the second Spa Deck cabin we cruised in on the same class of ships. First time was cabin 1104 on the Valor and now 1106 on Conquest. Both cabins are Port side and our cabin 1106 sailings was in shade except for the last leg from Costa Maya which was sunny. If you don't want to have people hanging above your balcony choose any of the first 3 cabins closest to the gym because they have a glass wall that keeps debris and people from your space. That would be 1102-1106. 1108 has the glass wall above too, but the first 3 cabins are more protected from on-lookers...we never saw 1 person hang out above us and we spent many hours out on our balcony. We love port side cabins...we find it hilarious to see the runners of shame before leaving each port and some ports put on a nice welcome performance too.

Cozumel-been many times...least expensive option is to pay a taxi driver $3 pp to The Money Bar where you can eat, drink, and snorkel (free) to your heart's content. They have clean restrooms and showers. It's oceanfront with plenty of shady tables & chairs.

Belize-first time we booked Carnival's Goff's Cay Snorkel...not as cheap or as long and definitely not as good as Island Marketing Sunkissed Beach & Snorkel. The group was smaller, more informative and more closely watched. We also had free flowing rum punch after the snorkeling. I will book with them again!

These cabins were not too windy to enjoy time outside...the glass walls and the partial overhead wall help keep the wind down. When you are seated, you are out of the wind. These cabins are not noisy...I can see why they placed the Spa on this deck. Both times we disembarked, we were called in the second round after those carrying out their own luggage. This didn't mean much to us since we didn't have a connection to make, but if getting off the ship fast is your thing...consider Spa Deck.
