Our 3rd cruise from Boston to Bermuda was perfect. We travelled with a family of 6, with 2 people over 55; and 4 "kids" in their 20s. Embarkation was easy and smooth. We took advantage of free wifi in the terminal and on board . We enjoyed lunch at the Buffet as soon as we boarded. Our state rooms were very roomy. Eighth floor, obstructed portholes (not really obstructed...very good views out the large window.) We enjoyed a captan's reception with free cocktails and a sailaway barbecue. We enjoyed our dinners in the Venetian Restaurant. The food portions were much larger than before ...(too large in my opinion) and the dessert menu was too extensive! The warm chocolate volcano was amazing. All entrees were delicious (except the chicken park for some reason) Service was great. If there was a wait to be seated, we were given a coupon for a complimentary champagne or soda while we waited in the lounge with a beeper. We tried the Aqua one night, and found the service to be slower, the atmosphere was more causal and noisy, and decided to stick with the Venetian. We had professional family photos taken and they did a great job! The entertainment was ok. Second City Comedy was a favorite. The other performances were ok...something to do, but not noteworthy. The band at the pool was very talented. We took Zumba class, which was fun to do on the top deck! Also the gym was great.

Our room steward was kind and polite. Once he forgot our pillow mints , and the next night left a giant pile to make up for it!

One of our party had a birthday and a special cupcake was delivered to the room, with a song. So cute!

Cabin Review

BIG room! It is a sideways room, which is a nice arrangement. The shower was handicapped accessible, so no door and the floor got soaked after every shower; but it was easy to dry. Noisy at night because it is across from the crew room.
