This was our third cruise and was excited to go on our 7 day cruise to Roatan, Belize and Cozumel on the "new" Carnival Sunshine. Was quickly disappointed when we discovered the lack of space in the public areas such as the Lido deck area where they have all the activities such as ice carving, and the hairy man competition, etc..it takes place among the lounge chairs in a cramped area in front of the pool...where if the camera man isn't there taking a video of it to show on the Seaside Theater, you don't get to see it...the small area is ridiculous for the amount of people on the ship. On the Carnival Elation and Fantasy that we traveled on before, there was a stage were activities like that took place and you could see it better and had way more room to host such activities.

The Atrium on Deck 3, when you first walk in does not have that big open area that has that WOW factor that takes your breath away when you see for the first time, like the Carnival Elation and Carnival Fantasy have.

The comedy club has room for 150 people to sit and you better get there at least an half hour early or you wont get a seat. Or the seat you do get is on the side where you can't see the comedian, but get to look at a little tv screen. There are several shows a night, and several nights with shows, but when you have 3200 passengers on board, that doesn't matter...I as a guest would like to see as many comedy shows as I can.
