How the Getaway - GOTAWAY!
Cabin - We were on deck 14. For the first two nights we thought the honeymooner's cabin was right over ours, because they were moving the furniture like rabbits (hint hint); turns out, we were right under the restaurant. Not a good idea if you don't want to hear the scrapping of chairs all night.
Balcony - Average, I have seen bigger. Ours was sticky with spilled soda from the previous guest. A note to the cabin steward soon resolved that.
Bathroom - Big and roomy. Really like the shower and sink area. very well thought out. Toilet area always smelt like stale urine, even after cleaning. Very annoying.
Beds - Very comfy.
Garden Cafe- Good food, although by day 5, we got tired of it. STOP THE BANANA SONG. PLEASE!!!! FIND SOMETHING FOR THAT OFFICER TO DO. Very annoying, each and every day, come on!
Tropicana - Very nice. Very unexpected for a main dinning room. Food More was delicious.
Ocean Blue - A culinary experience but stay away from the burnt broccoli side dish.
Cagney's Steakhouse - Just okay. The Spilt Pea Soup is really a broth, beware.
O'Sheehans - Love the burger's.
The Flamingo Grill - Plantains, Tres Leche, need it say more.
The Thermal Spa - Took the $199 package, it was a good deal. The Pool, Hot tub and Sauna were lovely.
Main Pool - Too small.
Kiddies Pool - Nice but can be dangerous. Kids need supervision. We witness a grown man, knocked off his feet by sliding kids. Heard he dislocated his shoulder. Fun way to cruise right?
Sports Deck is for the enthusiastic. If you are wheelchair bound or pushing a stroller, there is no where to access this deck via elevator.
Comedy Club - The Comedy show was funny, as should be. The MC and Mark from New York made me cry with laughter. Rodney was just okay. Most things went over my head.
As I said in the beginning. It was an okay cruise, I dislike the fact that they add $12 gratuity daily per person to your bill. I believe people offering a service should be rewarded accordingly; it should not be forced on you. Hence why the quality of service is lacking on this cruise line.
