Embarkation at Venice was a nightmare. unorganized with passengers pushing ,shoving and queue jumping unfortunately this continued throughout our 7 day cruise as many of our European "friends" did not understand the concept of queues or manners.. Check in staff at terminal were friendly although sparse.

The Preziosa is a beautiful ship that was spotlessly clean and tidy. The swarovski staircase was stunning. We had a small balcony which was a God send as there were no empty sunbeds on sea days and as a result passengers were lying on towels on the ground of the sun deck,

We had the algrissimo drinks package which was great value for money. the food in the dining room on the other hand was awful two slices of meat and three potato wedges does not constitute a main meal in my book, it appeared to be company policy that if you had potatoes on your plate you didn't get vegetables or vice versa. The one and only time we had breakfast in the dining room we opted for the More express breakfast as we had intended in disembarking early we should have thought better it took an hour for it to arrive

The food at the buffet was excellent although it was a nightmare at peak times getting a table { by the time you find one your meal was cold}.

Entertainment was poor ,yes the shows singers dancers and acrobats could all do their thing but, to the untrained eye it was the same moves to different tunes and unfortunately the Queen songs were almost unrecognizable,.the singers in the other bars were good although very few sang in English.

We never booked any excursions as we prefer to do our own thing, we did however discover that it was far cheaper , easier and quicker to take a taxi, this also prevented us from having to wait in the MSC bus queues . Less
