Our first time on the Adventure but not with RCI, (we are Diamond members in the crown and anchor) so have experienced the boarding a few times now, but this one was great. We only live down the coast so got to the car park nice and early (around 1100) parked up as directed and before I put the handbrake on, the boot was open and the cases were being taken away to the van. We did make sure all our cases were taken before moving off, taking the first photograph and making our way to the terminal. We were met by lots of staff and given our little red sticker for the 'fast lane' and joined the que for security (the only slow bit, but happy to wait). Onwards to get our boarding cards after the check to see if my credit card was working ok... then straight on board, no waiting in the lounge. We did stop for our first photograph (we don't normally, but gave it a go) then on board. A great start to our cruise.

We have been on the Navigator before, same class, so knew the size and layout etc, but it is always fun finding the little differences and odd things around any ship, so off to the windjammer for lunch.

Rob and Jammie, the managers in the entertainment team, made a very good duo, and we enjoyed the morning shows on channel 14 along with the question of the day for a goodie bag at the end of the cruise (no I didn’t win, but it was fun). Between them, they hosted many activities on board and along with our table mates, we attended the progressive quiz, which took place each sea day, and even managed to come third out of the 30 ish teams, a very well attended activity.

Cabin Review

The norm, large window overlooking the promenade, and just about enough room to fit all our gear for 14 nights
