This was the first cruise for my wife and I. Our overall impression of Royal Carribean and Grandeur was very positive. The cruise staff excels at making people feel welcome.

Embarkation went very smooth. My wife has issues getting her seapass card, yet we were still on the boat by 11 AM. By 1:30 our room was ready and our bags, minus one, was waiting for us at the room.

Food on the ship was pretty good. I had Lamb, lamb shank, Pad Thai noodles, chicken Marsala, Lobster Tail and duck in the Main dinning room. The chicken Marsala was the only dish that I didn't think was restaurant quality. I was offered a second Lobster tail without asking. None of the appetizers were that impressive. I expected to find pieces of Lobster in the Lobster bisque, and there weren't any. The bread was very nice. Windjammers should have Frank's red hot sauce instead of Tabasco sauce. There wasn't any whip cream for blueberry and/or strawberry waffles/pancakes in the Winjammers cafe.

Cabin Review

THe room was not bad. It was small, but there was plenty of storage space.
