Just returned from a week in Bermuda aboard the Summit. It was a wonderful cruise! Having read a number of critical reviews prior to my departure I set off with some reservation...HOWEVER...it was superb, and i believe some critics are just....critical!

Yes, The port of Bayonne is a dilapidated spit of land...but really...how much time does one spend there?...20 minutes??? The boarding was efficient, the employees were welcoming and helpful...it would be a waste of time to judge the cruise on the port.

The ship is a few years old, BUT it was in superb shape. The aqua class rooms showed now evidence of wear and tear, nor did the spa, the pool area, the theater, Blu, etc. Others have commented on the water stained carpet on deck 10....get a life! It was nothing! Read more
