... there were a couple of hiccups, which I feel it may be helpful for people to know about.

The sun shone everywhere after the first day or two and it was verging on 30 degrees in St. Petersburg. Our stateroom was excellent, larger than any previous balcony cabin we have had. I describe the cabin elsewhere. As I have mobility difficulties we asked for a cabin near elevators, and even 'though we had booked a late fare without guarantees we had been allocated an aft cabin right next to the lifts and with instant elevator access to both the Oriental Restaurant straight down and the Buffet Restaurants straight up, and with the Terrace Pool and Bar very near by. All in all a great arrangement. Thumbs up, P & O :)

Of course although we had been on Azura before we had forgotten about the tortuous ups and downs in order to access particular decks. The elevators at meal or excursion times were very difficult. We had also forgotten that the Promenade Deck comes to an abrupt end and one has to turn around before reaching the circuit. All that forgiven, of course Azura is a great ship with tons of space in public rooms and without ever really feeling congested as many other larger ships do.

Cabin Review

Really comfortable cabin with separated bedroom and lounge area with sofa and coffee table.. The bed was very comfortable also. More than adequate storage space - even with our excess of luggage and clothes :) Two T.V s, although set a bit high for comfort viewing. Tea and coffee galore ( ask for drinking chocolate ). Larger than usual balcony. Bath with shower and facilities. Well cared for by steward. Even room for my small walking aid.
