OK!! so lets lay this out so people really know the truth. The Dream was clean did not smell of sewer or smoke, yes smoke was prevalent in the casino and approved smoking areas. My solution is don't go into the those areas and you wont know.
Food is good and bad, fresh at times and gross at others- but when you are trying to feed 3000+ meals basically 3 times a day stuff sucks occasionally and depending what kind often, lol. If i was a vegetarian I wouldn't expect the steak house to not serve meat..... Everyone since time began yrs ago knows that schools are out over the summer. So why do you take a cruise during that time and then become disenfranchised with other peoples brats acting like kids??
The beast, is a huge ship, will sway and pull from weather changes and such causing you to miss a port- next time fly and you wont miss out on Rotan, or get over it.
Tipping is always a good thing, however becoming overly concerned with the contractual agreements between carnival and its workers is insane.... one can be thoroughly assured that before they were hired, they understood that good work equals pay... just as a server at Chili's or TGI-Fridays. so don't be disingenuous.
The CD was a little dull, the shows like all other shows decent, house keeping awesome (I want them to come to my house and stay), drinks flowing, food very filling and those blasted photogs always everywhere and over priced.
I am disappointed that the excursions are so expensive and some take an hour plus to get to then wham bam there over and done. Like a county fair ride all hype and dull at the end.
As always Carnival Cruise Lines did an outstanding job making our over all vacation relaxing and hated to leave and go back to the working world of nursing
