Our family of four have just returned from a totally wonderful cruise on Celebrity Equinox, sailing from Barcelona and ending in Venice. Having cruised in the past with Orient lines , Cunard QM2 and Royal Caribbean, I am very impressed with the product that Celebrity offers.

From the moment we arrived on our flight to Barcelona, celebrity staff were there to make out transfer to the ship seamless, from that moment our holiday began. I work in the customer service industry myself and know how challenging it is to attempt to keep people happy, but the staff here do a fantastic job. Considering they don't get a break, thousands of passengers getting off and thousands more getting on, they manage somehow to continue to offer 5 star service. Not a sarcastic comment, a sigh, a roll of the eyes etc. etc. was observed throughout our holiday. What an amazing bunch of people. I didn't come across one member of staff that was British , maybe that is their secret, when we cruised with Cunard on the QM2 the staff ( lots of British ) were hideously unwelcoming, the difference is unbelievable.

The entertainment manager Josh was just wonderful and the shows were great, they have a fabulous acrobatic pair who do the most spectacular act. I can't fault any part of the holiday, the Celebrity staff absolutely made it for us.
