Just back from our first ever cruise, have to say we were utterly disappointed.

Food on board MSC Opera was appalling and always cold whether in the main dining room or buffet. Food is an important part of any holiday, I usually look forward to meals but on MSC Opera we honestly only ate because we'd starve other wise, nothing exciting or tasty about dining onboard.

Getting a drink is a nightmare expect to wait until you can get the attention of a waitress (there are not enough of them), no point going to the bar as you will be sent away to sit down and wait for a waitress. On several occasions we gave up which is not good enough given we had already paid for an All Inclusive drinks package.

Cabin Review

It was clean, and spacious enough. I hit my head on the upperbunk more times than I can count getting out of bed though. Bit dated looking. Tiny old CRT TV but didn't really bother us to much. Nice big window which was good.
