Went on a med. cruise onboard Norwegian Epic together with 27 family members. Departed Jul. 6 from Barcelona. Check in and boarding went smothly. Arrived the pier at 11 AM, onboard 15 minutes later. Our stateroom, 9091, was ready as we entered the ship. The cabin, a mini suite?, with shower and toilet seperated from the cabin with glas doors, did not meet our expectations. Very narrow, Only one person could move around without colliding. We met the stateroom attendant on day 1, didn't see him later on. He did a good job, kept the cabin tidy.

The staff kept the ship clean, except for the restrooms in public areas. They were cleaned to rarely, toiletpaper and water were floating on the floor. In one restroom there was a leak from a toilet. No one fixed it during the one week cruise.

Travelling together in a large group we looked forward to have some meals together. We only managed to get one dinner together. Trying to reserve for the group, we experienced problems whatever time we suggested. Did not seem serviceminded at all. Crew members in general had a smile on there face, but some seemed to be onboard for themselves, and not for there guests. I can't recommend Epic for families or other groups.

Cabin Review

Narrow stateroom with restroom and shower within the cabin. I think we will never see another ship with this set up.
