First time cruise for 50th birthday
Wasn't sure what to expect but turning up at the port with one suitcase lost in transit wasnt the best way to start......
The queue to just get upstairs to booking in were very long and it was very hot but once upstairs they seamed to move things along and then we were onboard.
The ship was amazing and we were upgraded to a balcony cabin which pleased us both very much.
Everything was very clean and tidy and all the staff were very hard working and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Having to go for towels each day with your card was a bit of a pain and the rule that you cant reserve sunbeds or staff will remove just DID NOT HAPPEN...
Lots of kids on board which is ok but then late at night when you go into the disco's or to karaoke you don't want the kids there so we didn't bother.
We were on second sitting for dinner which at 9pm was too late as we weren't finishing till 11.30pm.
The buffet on deck 14 was a bit like More a bun fight at all times and to see so much wasted food by people pileing their plates high then leaving it was not good to see.
The most annoying thing were the excursions but i will write about those later but dont use the shuttle buses especially in dubrovnik and corfu.
Dubrovnik share a cab 10 euro into town and walk back where they charge 8 Euro each return.
and Corfu walk to dock entrance and catch local bus 1.50 each instead of 8 euro return Less
