There will not be a next time for my husband and I with RCL. I booked the cruise with a RCL representative and requested quiet cabin with cabins above and below midship to avoid noise and movement. Our cabin was underneath the Centrum dance floor (3583 beware, do not select this room). When I went to customer service, I was lied to and told there wouldn't be any other evening noise for the remainder of the cruise and offered ear plug!!! Front desk unresponsive the next day to requests to be moved to another comparable cabin. Offered a cabin in the very very front of ship which was making us nauseated from movement of the ship just looking at the cabin!!! Several calls to front desk and requests for Director to call us were ignored. No sleep entire trip! On departure to excursion, we were told our sea pass was invalid - crew member clueless as to what to do. We were then told to go all the way back to the front desk and ask them what to do. Front desk slow, not too concerned about our missing our excursion, we had to insist they contact the excursion and ask them to wait for us. Each time we encountered crew members, we were not greeted, no smiles, nothing!!! When we said thank you to a crew member for providing us with anything (towel, soda, etc.) crew member didn't even look at us nor did they say "you're welcome". Have cruised many many many times and this was not due to a language barrier. Crew members were in groups, more entrenched in their own personal conversations then in customers. Common areas were left dirty most times. There was not food available after 9pm. Disorganized and inappropriate events (sexiest men contest with young children around), not much going on during the day for folks to do, last nights show unable to go on in due to technical difficulties, unable to get off ship due to unorganized processes of crew. Food mediocre to poor - several times the food was inedible!!! Fitness room was small and people were waiting to use machines. Coffee was horrible which required us to purchase coffee at the cafe' at least one a day. Thank goodness for the beautiful weather as we spent a lot of time sunning and napping- as we couldn't sleep during the night due to the noisy cabin!!!

Every so often it sounded as though a 2x4 was thrown and the bang startled us so much so that it made us jump a bit....the worst part was I think they knew about this problem and didn't really care.
