We flew in early and had two days in London and it was a great city. I set up a car service prior to arrival with Eddie Manning and Kevin our driver was waiting for us, I would certainly recommend them for transport. Two days was rushing it a bit but we did quite a lot, even fit in a visit to the ER. My aunt accompanied us and took a tumble on our last evening and dislocated her shoulder, if you had to have an accident this was the place. People on the street, hotel and hospital were wonderful and my aunt was a real trooper the entire trip. We stayed at The Sheraton Park Lane and had only the best service and location, our room was very nice and we enjoyed being able to walk to several different places but most importantly to the hop on hop off bus.

We had arranged transportation with twelve other we met here on our roll call but alas the car did not arrive...it was a crazy mess and I am laughing about it now. Darren from Adelphi sent Paul form Essex in his place but never gave him our updated information. It was a nightmare and we made it to the ship with minutes to spare. I would not recommend Adelphi but Paul from Essex did his best and we used him to get to the airport upon return.

Our check-in went very quick and I am certain we were the last to get on, we took our bags to the lifeboat drill. Our aft cabin 8170 was very nice and we had two loungers, and two chairs plus a small table. It was unfortunate that it was chilly but we did use it several times when we saw a little sun. I love the walk to the cabin and our cabin steward Karla was terrific.

Cabin Review

It was an aft balcony that was very nice, our balcony had two loungers, two chairs and a small table. Our room steward Karla was great and we were very comfortable except for the shower?...get rid of the curtain!
