We cruised on the Jade June 28-July 5 2014, 2 balcony and connecting cabins 10152 and 10154. Cabins were comfortable, conforming to the web description and exactly as shown on the photos. The cabins, restaurants and general areas very clean. Very good service staff, in general, I would rate the overall experience good and pleasurable. BUT, few words of advice to the cruisers:

1. Avoid the Asian restaurants. Paying addition fees to eat there one would expect that the food is better quality and variety than the restaurants included on the cruise fee – very wrong assumption. The food was so bad and the music noise from the bar below was so bad that we almost waked out – the service was excellent and the manager offered us a free bottle of wine in return for staying. We met several couples on the boat who had similar experience.

2. Avoid dinner at Bistro: expensive for what you get and not very tasteful as advertised “French”. We are French and we would never call the food served there as French. Plus is was served lukewarm. After such bad experiences in the paid restaurants we just ate at the included restaurants and the food+experience was so much better.

Cabin Review

Very comfortable, exactly as described. We did not hear any noise from above or outside. Good view looking forward, but obstructed view looking backwards. The obstruction being the relatively large external window cleaning machine attached the aft of the ship.
