My husband and I have been on 3 cruises with carnival and have always recommended this cruise line to our friends and relatives. The cruises we took to Ensenada was very disappointing. Carnival has obviously cut back and staff and services. We have always loved the entertainment on the ship, but this time there were only three performances by the very limited entertainment staff and one performance was a mirror image of a previous night, same songs and same costumes. One night had a Hasbrow game as the entertainment. How cheap can you get. Audience members were called on stage to play children's games-not my idea of entertainment. The food , as usual, was excellent. However, although the servers were running back and forth trying to accommodate guests, there were obviously were not enough of them to handle the job. It took between one and one-half to two hours from start to finish for us to complete our dinner. As if that were not bad enough, one night after standing in line to get to the hostess, we were given a pager and told we would be seated in about a half hour. A PAGER !!!!! This was supposed to be a cruise dinner, not a Red Robin joint. Not only will I never recommend Carnival to my friends and family again, my husband will not be travelling with them in the future.

Cabin Review

Our cabin was small, especially the beds, but we expected that. Our cabin steward was friendly and competent. He did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable.
