We were first time cruisers with Celebrity and chose the Millennium for its itinerary. We are a couple in our mid fifties. We had read bad reviews prior to our trip about viruses, the age of the ship and poor service, so we were a little wary. I’m pleased to say most of these reviews were unfounded in our opinion. We read good advice to get to Vancouver early to avoid the possibility and stress of plane delays, etc. We loved Vancouver and spent three days there. Our Vancouver embarkation was smooth. We were disappointed to have a 4 hour delay of our ship as some passengers did have plane delays and the ship waited for most of them. So, if you book your airfare through Celebrity, they will try to take care of you. The delay did not affect the rest of the trip.

The ship was impressive and clean. If you looked very close there were some signs of age, but again she is not brand new. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The ship is also very easy to get around and you can get the layout very quick.

I thought our cabin was clean, beds were comfortable and our steward did what was expected. We did lose water and toilets one morning but the ship really did everything to fix it as quick as possible. This problem occurred on the whole third floor not just our cabin. There were no towel animals or extras, but if we requested something it was done promptly. I did not smell any foul odors on any part of the ship.
