Unless Celebrity will get a wake up call it is all gone

Sail Date: May 2014
Destination: Bermuda
Embarkation: Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Ship - nicely upkept for an older ship, the usual suspects are bathrooms and balconies - they were rusty/spotty, but not horribly so.

Staterooms cleanness - linens old and tired with some holes, spots, feels unfresh, room stewards tired and do not pay attention to details, but overall not too bad for how overworked they are.

Entertainment ... SUCKS, late night show is a disgrace and can be watched only by dead drunk people who jump over the chairs to see bad parody on burlesque ... Celebrity - have you gone mad???

Production shows - plain bad, no matter how many times stage lift goes up and down ... - how the hell sister RCCL could do it right and Celebrity suck so bad in it? Music under phonograph from "duo"??? Really?

Food: Bistro on 5 worth $5 upcharge, MDR mostly OK until they serve meat that they try to give upgraded name without upgraded meat itself - "fillet minion" was just plain chewee overcooked sirloin with rubber taste .... of course - More they need to sell Normanidie seats...buffet - liked portions that prevent floating piles of redundant protoplasm from touching all food with hands not washed after restroom visit (mandatory to load yet more of all they can eat into bloated stomachs)

On the real downside - 3 out of 4 drink stations were out of service (BROKEN) most of the time as well as ice dispensers

Embarkation at Bayone is a hell if you arrive after 11:30 in your car, otherwise if you tip luggage handlers you may get lucky and your stuff will not get lost due to intentionally ripped off tags . Disembarking was fast - as long as you could carry your bags down the stairs instead of waiting for 50 minutes for elevators.

Bermuda - that is why people go on that particular cruise - right? Never fails to impress and cruise is least pricey option of visiting (as oppose to paying arm and a leg for hotels and plane)

Overall - Celebrity balancing on the dangerous edge right now, edge that separates them and RCCL from low life drunk Carnival/NCL - one more wrong move and none will pay premium prices for inferior cruise experience Less
