Bob and Beth Russell - we live in Martinez, GA - 631 miles from Miami. We debated travel by air or car (called land) and land won out. We drove 1/2 way to St. Augustine (Outlet Malls) and stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in St. Augustine - next day we drove to Miami (5 hours) and stayed at the La Quinta near the airport. Miami is one of the worst places to drive in - we even had a GPS and still manage to get lost - we called the hotel and go great directions.

Embarkation: Miami port could learn from Port Canaveral - it was total chaos in the terminal as far as embarkation goes - procedures should have been 1. Wedding part, 2. Diamond, 3. Plantium , 4. FTTF and 5. others. They just announced for all #1,2,3 &4 to board - it was a mess.

Our first time on the Breeze - did not know what to expect - we have been on 47 cruises and loved the Dream and also loved the Breeze - it holds about 300 more passengers that the Dream. Did the Mongolian wok and Beth had the pasta - we toured the ship and was impressed by the layout - easy to get around and staff were very friendly and would answer our questions. The room was available for us and immediately our room steward (Joaquim) called us by name and was very nice - we were on the 7th floor in the front of the ship - nice view of where we were going.
