All the staff were friendly and helpful and made you feel special. Alcohol, hand sanitizes were located in all the food queuing areas. Food was plentiful with an excellent variety, especially the deserts. Must try the Salt Grill restaurant, great food at a realistic price.
Wow, entertainment now that was the strong point of the cruise with an amazing band called "The Alter Ego" and the on board entertainment crew held excellent productions. Special acts including Nathan Foley and the comedians were great. Even the cruise Director Alun and Joanna sang and had the ship rocking.
Overall the ship was clean and well maintained. Tip, don't drink too much on the first day of your cruise as there were a few sore heads the next day.
I spoke to a couple who had 20 cruises under their belt from all over the world. They said the entertainment on P&O is unbeatable and beats the rest hands down.
Coin operated washing machines and dryers mid ship on the 10th floor. 3 x $1 coins for washer and dryer. Packet of powder $1. Don't do your washing on the last day as you'll be lucky to get a machine.
Ensure if you have a Suite or Mini Suite you get a priority boarding pass on check-in as they forgot to issue me with one.
The only disappointing thing is the pricing at the spa, massages and treatments are very expensive.
My wife and I had a great time on our first cruise.
