This was our second Carnival cruise, the first one was in 2010. This ship has been completely refurbished and they did an excellent job. It is very modern, clean and beautiful. The staff were very knowledgeable, everyone from the room steward to the cleaning people in the halls. The shows were outstanding, especially since there were only 8 performers. The food was good with many unique choices. There were many flies in the Italian specialty restaurant, which was unfortunate, and the staff needs a little more training, but the food was good and the staff were friendly and did the best they knew how to make our dinner a success. I recommend this restaurant for a special dinner. Our room was comfortable and excellently serviced. We requested more ice the first night and every night thereafter there was an extra ice bucket in our room. Carnival needs to provide more daily activities for those who are sailing all day or who choose to not go on an excursion. The selection of outdoor movies was great, some old, some new, some for children and some for adults. Embarkation and disembarkation were a snap, the best we've ever done. I would sail on Carnival again any time.
