Sail Date: Jun 2014

We sailed yet again on the Dream on the 14th June with an inside cabin number 5111. We have had this cabin before so knew what to expect. It lacks storage space for clothes etc. The crew again were exceptional with special mentions to our waiter Norman, our wine waiter Richard and our cabin steward Christina.

The ports of call were fine as was the weather, we did one organised trip from Livorno to Lucca which was was 'reliving an earlier visit to Tuscany'.

As regular cruisers with Thomson we knew what to expect and again were not disappointed. We ate in Sirens during the day but prefer the more formal the Orion in the evening. The entertainent tries to cope with most tastes and we particularly enjoyed the shows in the Broadway showlounge. The upgrade to Platinum cruise does not seem much of a change and what has happened to the availability of ice cream in the Lido and Sirens. We left the Dream to spend a week in Ca'n Picafort and have already booked to sail on the Dream next June but we like Thomson Cruises so much we are also booked to sail on the Celebration and the Spirit as satisfied customers.

Cabin Review

A basic cabin, more than adequate but lacks storage space. Situated midships so is in a stable quiet position.
