Mix of experiences

Sail Date: April 2014
Destination: Panama Canal & Central America
Embarkation: San Francisco

Food and service good

Entertainment marginal

Scotch tasting good

On shore excursions marginal at best

Ball room dancing good

Value for money marginal

Cabin service good

Port & excursion commentator very poor ... Reading a script with no life and depressing

Commodore's club great... But same singer/piano player all the time ... Mix it up a bit folks

Water color classes good

Table waiters and servers excellent

The entertainment director Sally was very subdued verses out last trip when she was a highlight...

The commodore was approachable and informative...

Two ship issues caused concern... Loss of power on the ocean for close to an hour... And a dock issue..

Did I say the entertainment was marginal...

Service in the golden lion pub was mixed.... Food was good but always the same thing... Over and over... Mix it up folks

Afternoon tea was More excellent

This was our third Cunard cruises. Loved the other two cruises and on balance this could have been better but enjoyed the experience

Just booked a 22 day cruise on the Queen Elizabeth to Sydney to complete our three Queen experience Less

Not a port that is consistent with Cunard standards... Especially after 6 sea days
