Background Information: Deb and I have taken three previous Carnival Cruises. Two 4 nighters on the Fascination and our 7 night Honeymoon Cruise on the Glory. All of these were in 2006, after the first one in January, we were hooked. Hotel Info: We were flying our of Columbus Ohio at 5am the morning of the embarkment, so we chose to stay at an airport hotel the night before. They offered free parking for up to 5 nights so not only did we save about 40 bucks on parking, we also had a few hours more sleep in the morning before our early flight.

Ship Info: The Fantasy is one of the older ships, a sister ship to the Fascination we had been on a few times so I knew navigation would be rather easy. She was kept very clean by the staff, they were always busy, but would stop on a dime to help you or answer any questions. The ship has almost a perfect layout, except for the dining room. As before, we had to find the secret to getting to our dining room. We both smoke so our nightly trip consisted of a quick smoke in the Casino and then just straight down to the tables. The Lido deck and the buffets weren't too bad, there was usually room to grab a table there. Activities: There are the usual array of activities on board for all ages. We more or less, just chilled and watched a lot of things going on. This time, we went for leisure instead of full itineraries each day.

Service: Service overall was great. I only had problem when the deli guy was rude to me because I did not want mayo on my sandwich and then I asked him to heat it on the little press grill. He refused to do so. Now I have had this done many times before on the other ships, but this time, it was a cold turkey and swiss.
