Just came back from Iceland - 12 nights. As we have booked on line before with P and O did not expect all ocean view rooms to have a lifeboat restricting our view. From what we can see from the ship most of the ocean view rooms DO have restricted lifeboat views - SO BEWARE when booking. We found this spoiled what could have been a very nice trip as when tendering they decided to choose OUR boat as one of the few boats for tendering making this extremely annoying to have someone outside what should be a private view.

The ship itself was in reasonable condition - a little scruffy round the edges. We found the entertainment in the evening not at all up to the standard that you would expect of a P and O cruise liner. Most of the acts went on twice which i found made it a very laboured evening. The food itself in the restaurant was up to a good standard but we found that the food outside of this was very poor standard. Not sure what happened with regard to the photographer but he did not seem to want to take our picture in the evening, just chose tables at random! All in all we found the cruise itself very poor - the only saving grace were the ports which we found charming and the people warm and friendly.

Cabin Review

As already explained above the view was not good with this restricted room - PLEASE BEWARE WHEN BOOKING. The facilities were adequate except for the very good flat screen tv fixed to the wall. The cabin staff who looked after us were first rate so cannot complain on that score - very clean.
