Ship Facts: Freedom of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Freedom of the Seas Deck Plans
Almost perfect

We were a party of 6 (in 3 separate cabins) on the occasion of our 50th Anniversary. Collectively, we found everything from food, service & activities to be super. For food, there was always something in the main dining room for everyone to eat or try out. The buffet was not to our liking. Service on the ship was wonderful with kudos to certain people who had interaction with us on a daily basis. The activities suited us to a "T" with something for every age group.

The room was adequate with sufficient walking space. There was plenty of storage room for clothes & toiletries after we discovered the storage areas adjacent to the mirror in the room. We had selected a cabin on the aft since they were supposed to have roomier balconies which ours did not have. However, it rained daily (for short periods of time) & there was very little overhang so our chairs & chaise were always wet & unusable.

Our cabin steward was attentive & a delightful person.

The only negative was the photo shop (& we have already voiced our opinion to RCL). Packages were available but if you bought a package, only the 2 of us (husband & wife) could be in the pictures we purchased. Even though our children were in separate cabins (for which we paid) we couldn't buy pictures of them unless we were also in their pictures (if we purchased a discounted package for them). We tried to talk to the staff at the photo shop but they expertly diverted all of our objections. We, therefore, bought no packages & only purchased a few photos. We would have liked to have a better photo record of this occasion.
