Just returned yesterday from a 2 week cruise doing the Adriatic Explorer and then Italian Flavours. We would thoroughly recommend the itinerary. We have been on several other Thomson cruises over the past few years, but this was our first time on the Majesty.

The ports are on the whole, quite beautiful and many are easy to just walk off and 'potter around'. We booked three excursions and I would definitely recommend the trip to Erice in Sicilly. The views are stunning. Also the 'Bella Vista' trip in Corfu which also features fantastic views and a cute half hour boat trip around a little bay. (Please note: we paid extra for the boat trip - 7 euros - but it was well worth it). We also booked the 'Secret Corners' trip around Venice as we didn't want to waste time queuing for the water taxis. Our guide was very informative and I'm sure we saw places that we would have missed if we had gone into Venice independently.

Booking in was efficient, despite a long queue, and our luggage was at our cabin door within 15 minutes.

Cabin Review

An outside plus cabin - although not the biggest it was quiet and perfectly fine
