Many positives--some negatives.
First of all, boarding the ship, leaving the ship, even via tenders--never a line. Remarkably well organized for a ship this size. The ocean view room I had, not the largest but well organized. Not a lot of closet space at all--I didnt need much, but if you needed a lot of space this would be not good for you. I prefer smaller closets and more actual room space. The shower, as others have said is small. I am not a large person and it was "tidy". If you are moderately overweight--its going to be very tight. Seriously..it is a small shower. Only a few outlets--bring a european adapter so you can use that outlet and a powerstrip (yeah I know the cruise ships dont like powerstrips but these days--you need to recharge the tablet and the camera and the phone etc). Room service was fine. Provided ice everyday. One strong negative--I like a decent fridge so I can keep cold water in the room--instead the fridge wasnt a real fridge, instead one of those "coolers" so never got cold. Just annoying that they cant manage to provide a decent fridge. Princess seems to not have a problem...
Ship itself--in great shape, no signs of significant wear. Never felt crowded. Always a line at customer service but otherwise you walked right in to the restaurant and as already mentioned--no issues at all getting on and off the ship. Lots of activity on the ship--but never really loud or crowded. Interesting, didnt see the "pool hogs" placing towels at 6 am...Evening entertainment programs good. Kids disappointed as the movie projector didnt work.
Food--a major issue. Some positives--good fruit mix--always fresh melons that were sweet. After the first day the coffee was fine--they are brewing it. They made omelets that are fine. Overall baked goods not bad. And what I dont like--after 900 pm the buffet closes for the night. You can get limited food in the coffee and pizza shops but that is it. Any attempts at ethnic food generally not that great. The sit down restaurant--bland, bland, bland. Really, we are talking unspiced food. Not terrible but again just bland. Think wedding banquet food at the Holiday Inn. What I did was get some pepper sauce and start adding it to the food. Bring stuff with you--sriracha and terayaki and some good spicy barbecue sauce and you should be good.
Service was fine, a couple of people grumpy but overall pleasant. Service in the sit down restaurant was excellent.
So, overall, a lot of positives but some distinct negatives.
