This was our first cruise and we chose Thomson Dream for two reasons i.e. it was a small ship and also we are regular Thomson customers so we are well aware of the brand. We were a bit concerned after reading some previous reviews however once on board our concerns were soon diminished. All I can say is that some people are expecting too much bearing in mind it is a small ship and not one of the large liners that look like floating flats. If you want glitz and glamour you may want to choose these larger liners however if you want a reasonably laid back and relaxing cruise with great service and food this is worth a try.

Our transfer from airport to ship and all that entails was first class. They certainly have the boarding procedure down to a fine art. Food on board was very good with plenty of it and enough choices to even please the most fussy of travellers. The waiter service in the Orion Restaurant was very good and also in the buffet establishment where you are served by staff which was for hygiene reasons and prevention of virus being spread. This was apparent all over the ship and Thomson's are certainly going all out in there efforts to eradicate any possible spread of nasty infections etc. (i.e .Novo Virus)

Our cabin was on Deck 7 and we paid for an outside plus cabin. It was spacious and plenty room for your clothes etc.. The cabins are kept spotless by the staff and all over the ship they are to be praised for their service and they cannot do enough to ensure you are happy and are enjoying your holiday.

Cabin Review
