Came from London Heathrow and found the transfer a little disorganized to our overnight hotel - Intercontinental Miami West - however lovely hotel rooms! Fab time had by myself and other half. Not a whiff of the elusive sewage smell at all!!! Embarkation took only 5 mins :-) (arrived at about 1pm) Found the whole experience to be wonderful, always a little worried after reading some of the reviews etc. As they say you get out of your holiday what you put into it. We did the river tubing in Jamaica, the river was so clear and was on the whole good fun, excellent tour guide. Could be a little dangerous - so watch your head on this excursion! Had heard from other passengers that they did get hassled in the towns to buy things, and drugs, so personally would not go there. Grand Cayman was by far the best port of call. Took a taxi to 7 mile beach (only 5 mins away if you get out at the first public beach). The water was so warm and was good to dip toes in the water Horse riding in Cozumel, which was good fun, neither of us had ridden before but we were able to gallop along the beach. After had lunch and a chance to swim. Princess Cays - unable to dock due to a little choppy weather. The casino was good fun, dicey horse racing, would recommend the island deck party (fab time with streamers, garlands etc.) We did not particularly enjoy the show we went to but that was just personal taste I guess so did not go back. Went into the hot tubs (best one on deck 16) in evening under stars, which was good as was very quiet (everyone had gone to dinner!!) Purchased the Coke card which works out to be a good saving, food on the whole was good, gave the perfect opportunity to try things you would not normally have. Ate in both Sabatinni's and the Steak House, definitely worth the money. All in all had a super time and would recommend it.
