Sail Date: June 2014
Destination: South Pacific
Embarkation: Sydney (Australia)

My wife and I have cruised at least 15 times but first on Carnival Spirit

Upon reading the brochure for the Spirit,we decided to give a try. The ship is magnificent the first impression was wow.

Unfortunately there wee too many children on board without any supervision running in passage ways at all hours and in the Casino

We had dinner in the dining room a couple of nights unfortunately our waiter was heavily overworked and our meals were late therefore missing the show

we then chose to dine in La Playa restaurant which had a bigger variety but we did not like the setup of the different stations by the time you picked an item from one station then went to another your meal got cold.

We also found that there was not many things for adults to do during the day other than Trivia, bingo and Casino

As for the Serenity unless you went at 8am you could not find a seat as they were taken by people sleeping in them Less
