Sail Date: Jun 2014

After very busy few days in Denali, we were really looking forward to boarding the ship for a little slower pace and some R and R.. After a long bus trip to Seward from Denali we were greeted by a long line waiting to obtain the necessary ship cards This took almost an hour and a half but then were able to embark and go to our cabin-- by this time it was after 5 We quickly went to the Lido for something to eat and then waited to play sardines for the much anticipated boat drill. Then we were finally able to take a deep breathe and enjoy the next six days.

We had the most amazing room steward by the name of Komang, who couldn't do enough for us with the biggest smile. The Oosterdam has one of the nicest crews that we have had the pleasure of sailing with on the "dam"ships. The ship was extremely clean and well-maintained and easy to find your way around. There were numerous activities available and always something of interest to do. We especially like the computer and digital picture presentations.

We had plenty of time in each port to experience at least one shore excursion or even two and time to shop.

Cabin Review

Room was nice except right over the lifeboat--have to make sure to check that next time.
