Ship Facts: Norwegian Spirit Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Norwegian Spirit Deck Plans
Nice cruise although bit disappointing as well.

Sailed out of Venice on the Norwegian Spirit with my wife.  Embarkation went fairly smoothly and on the ship about 12.30pm. Looked around the ship for a while which looked quite nice and in fairly good condition. Went upstairs around the pool deck and had a drink and a bit of lunch. Bags were to the staterooms early and then off to the Safety Drill.

PROS..... Nice clean little ship, Staff were excellent.

All ports of call were very nice indeed. Have cruised on 3 Norwegian ships now and we think the Spirit was our least favourite. Very much liked the Galaxy of the Stars lounge.

What we didn't like as much as our other cruises with Nowegian is that we thought the food was very ordinary at best. The 2 main dining rooms didn't rotate there meals much and I think I had steak about 5 nights in a row as there was very little variety in the food.. The food in the buffet ( Raffles ) was very ordinary also compared to other NCL ships like the Jade which was very much better. Went to Cagneys one night which we always do and the menu is not as good as previously. No crab cakes, no oysters ect ect. It appears they are cutting back on food dramatically to us.

One other thing we thought was below par was the entertainment. It was very very ordinary at best. The band around the pool when they were there were terrible. The band in the Galaxy of the stars lounge were also terrible. Went to a few shows and really only enjoyed the juggler who was good. Entertainment was very poor and needs to be addressed straight away.

Another disappointment was tendering into Mykonos. What a joke it was. We eventually got off the ship at 3pm and had to be back on by 7pm. 4 hours in total on the island. The problem was that that when calling the numbers for disembarkment, some people were pushing and shoving in front of people who were to be off before them. NCL staff were just standing there and didn't have a clue how to fix the problem. It was total chaos. Needs to be improved dramatically.

Even though we had these problems, we still had a nice holiday just not as good as we should of.
