As several other reviewers have said, we were a little disappointed on this cruise. We have been on six other cruises with RCI and once previously on The Freedom. Thought this was a good choice for this cruise because we had our whole family with us.In retrospect , another ship might have worked better. The grandkids, four of them, ages 17 and 12, were put out that there was a one AM curfew for them. I didn't think that was a bad idea but I could see their point. (The 17 year olds will be 18 in a few days). None of these are troublemakers and I felt bad for them. Also the 12 year olds complained there was not much organized activity for them.

The food was not bad at all, just not real good. This was our 25th cruise and we have never been disappointed until this one. Chops Steak House was excellent, to be fair. The service there was outstanding, However the servers in the MDR were friendly and worked hard but the service was just slow. Maybe that was the kitchen's fault.

The ship's air conditioning was awful!! Another cutback maybe?? More often than not it was way too warm and the elevators (which required a long wait most of the time) were the worse with none!! The AC in the cabins was fine although Maintenance had to repair ours immediately. Speaking of cabins, they seemed smaller than on previous cruises. Two of the family had superior cabins and one, an inside which was way too small. (We had a Jr. Suite previously.)
