This was my second cruise on the Explorer. I cruised again because the first one was wonderful, well this one was better. The ship's royal promenade is the perfect addition to a cruise ship. Starbuck's/ Ben and Jerry's at the same counter-perfection- Great snacks like pizza and little sandwichs totally fresh no matter what time of night. Cute little shops to stroll around. And that is only for when I want to do nothing. There is an activity from 7am to after midnight. This cruise I found myself attending just about every event, mostly because the cruise director Leigh and the activities director Erky from Turkey are hilarious, I just wanted to be at whatever event they were running. I cannot say enough about the staff on the ship. The Starbucks barista's made a perfect cappucino EVERYTIME, even my local Starbucks doesnt.! The ladies in the buffet "washy washy" always fun and entertaining as they dispense hand sanitizer. My room attendant and waiters were a joy to be around. I am told that the Explorer will not be at Bayonne anymore and that makes me sad, However, I booked my next cruise on the Quantum of The Seas while still onbaord because my experience was so wonderful I am sure it will continue on the new ship.

The room was quite comfortable, being one flight abouve the promenade I got coffe at 6am and sat on the balcony every morning to watch the sun rise. One morning I watched a rainbow form and stretch across the sky it was spectacular. The bathroom had room for all the personal items I brought and I liked the shower.
