Went on Golden princess 2 yrs ago. This is a smaller boat which made it so much easier to get around with still all the great services. First night out had some movement (because its a narrower ship) which we did not experience with Golden. But other days out were all fine and we enjoyed having a smaller boat.

Went with group and opened up balcony between rooms which was very nice. Picked the early seating but unfortunately didn't get to use it each night because of shore excursions. Went to some high teas in afternoon while at sea so we weren't hungry by early dinner time. Dining in anytime seating allows flexibility but the service is not nearly as good as the assigned time seatings where the kitchen has to move fast to finish and get the next group in. Dining in anytime seatings took more than 2 hours for dinners. :-(

Be sure to try the chocolate pecan pie available only one day at lunch. Not available any other location or time.

Cabin Review

Good location mid ship. Chose this side which allowed us to see coast as we went northward. Captain turns ship at Johns Hopkons glacier and other glaciers but those who stayed on our balcony (rather than going to promenade deck) didnt quite get to see all of it.
