Ship Facts: Coral Princess Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Coral Princess Deck Plans
Great trip to Alaska

Went on Golden princess 2 yrs ago. This is a smaller boat which made it so much easier to get around with still all the great services. First night out had some movement (because its a narrower ship) which we did not experience with Golden. But other days out were all fine and we enjoyed having a smaller boat.

Went with group and opened up balcony between rooms which was very nice. Picked the early seating but unfortunately didn't get to use it each night because of shore excursions. Went to some high teas in afternoon while at sea so we weren't hungry by early dinner time. Dining in anytime seating allows flexibility but the service is not nearly as good as the assigned time seatings where the kitchen has to move fast to finish and get the next group in. Dining in anytime seatings took more than 2 hours for dinners. :-(

Be sure to try the chocolate pecan pie available only one day at lunch. Not available any other location or time.

DO NOT DO NOT go to Sabatinis the italian restaurant. They are giving free vouchers to eliminate the cover charge, we went just to try it since it was "free" with our voucher.. What a mistake!! Food was not nearly as good as dining room with our great servers. Would have been even more upset if we had paid for it.

If you take wilderness glacier tour in Skagway, be aware it is definitely high moderate in difficulty and not a leisurely outing. The boat ride on the way over to the glacier was SO rough. Glacier experience itself was great
