Just back from 7 night eastern Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Glory. This is my 10th carnival cruise and second on glory. There were a few hiccups but overall this was a very good cruise. Arrived at the port of Miami promptly at noon, and onboard within 45 mins. Our cabin was ready, then up to the red sail restaurant for lunch. Line was short and moved quickly. First small issue was the muster drill. It didn't start until almost 4 and the boat was leaving port during the drill, so we missed most of the sail away. Again small issue
First port was half moon caye. The beach was great. We waiting about 1.5 hours after anchoring to catch a tendor. Walked right on the tender and were on the island within 15 mins. We sailed at 5 and decided to beat the crowds back to the boat and catch the tender about 2:30. The line was horrible and waited over an hour to board the tender. It's was 90 and sunny and no water or drinks were provided until you got to the front of the line. One on the tender we had to wait another 45 mins to get back on the boat. These were both relatively minor annoyances.
This cruise also visited Grand Turk, Puerto Rico and st Maarten. All of these ports had plenty to do and getting on and off the ship at all was relatively easy.
Cabin was good no complaints. Heard a bit of noise from the Lido deck above. But nothing major. Cabin was really close to the lessor used mid ship elevators
