In 2009, we took NCL Pride of America around the Hawaiian islands and it was awesome. Thinking we could have a similar experience, four of us (wife and I married 24 years, 15 YOA daughter and 11 YOA son) booked for a four-nighter to the Bahamas. We parked at Premier Parking in Miami and took their shuttle. Do not do this! Their web page is confusing regarding the shuttle times, the lot is crammed with vehicles filling every inch leaving you with the fear that your vehicle will be scratched or dinged. Take pictures of your vehicle and write down the mileage IF you leave it there as they will have your key.

Boarding was routine, some music and dancing at the brow. No drinks. Cameras pointed in your face (get used to that because it happens a lot). Our room was on the 10th deck inside, right under the pool deck which was right under the basketball court. Do not book here! It was loud with music and lots of thumping. The room was small and looked well used. It reminded me of a pig with lipstick on... regardless of how well it looked, it is still a pig. We opted to use the pull out couch as a bed. Do not do this! The couch is short, probably about 4' wide and 5' long when pulled out. Half-way down is a very strategically located metal bar that was perfectly aligned with my hips. I slept in a "L" to stay on the soft stuff.

We routinely lost at both "Deal or No Deal" and bingo. Play these ONLY if you have nothing else to do. No casino and comic show for us, neither were family friendly. The Las Vegas show was OK... it was a female strip show with clothes on (dichotomy, right?) choreographed to music with sexual innuendos thrown in.
