We had sailed with Princess Cruises on several family holidays so were looking forward to our Western Caribbean Cruise on the Caribbean Princes in February 2014. My husband and I (B.C. Canada) met our son, and family (Saskatchewan Canada) and flew to Houston, Texas to board the Caribbean Princess for a 7 day cruise to Cozumel, Rottan and Belize. Everything was perfect - boarding went extremely fast considering the long line up and having to stand outside - the new port of Houston was having some hiccups -( we did the same trip out of Galveston a year earlier and the wait was much longer and lot more frustrating so this was a nice surprise). The ship had just gone through a Norwalk Virus and some delays due to fog but our sailing was perfect. The weather was great, food was excellent and service supreme. Our little grandson ( 3 1/2) was treated like a prince in the formal dinning room and even had a chance on the last formal night to walk with the waiting staff and serenade the dinners. His mom and dad got engaged that same night we had shopped in Cozumel, swam in Rottan and Snorkeled in Belize (wonderful memories). Then as we sailed toward Houston my husband became ill - the ships medical staff acted immediately and for the next two days he was well looked after in the ships hospital. Princess Cruise totally took control and handled all the details - they looked after my husband, myself and our family - I cannot say enough about Princess Cruise Line and the treatment we received from the wonderful medical staff and support crew on the Caribbean Princess. The clearance they provided getting off the ship - the ambulance and the prepared documentation to the hospital in Houston was amazing. Then after being admitted to the ICU unit for critical care in Houston - Mary, Princess representative, phoned us everyday to make sure we were all doing okay. THANK YOU TO PRINCESS CRUISE LINE FOR YOUR CONCERN AND TO THE STAFF OF THE CARIBBEAN PRINCESS FOR YOUR AMAZING CARE AND COMPASSION TO OUR FAMILY - (Husband is now home and doing very well thanks to Princess)

Cabin Review

Clean, comfortable - well appointed - same room type and deck as the Crown Princess but much cleaner. Beds were very comfortable. nice location - very little movement
