Cruise included flights and transfers to Barcelona which were both very stress free.

Embarkation at Barcelona was fast and not a lot of queuing {about 45mins} and once on board this beautiful ship at about 12noon we spent some time getting to know our way about before being allowed to our staterooms at about 1-30pm. The stateroom was perfect and would definitely rate very high in comparison to other ships we have been on.

The itinerary was excellent and some of the ports visited will last long in the memory.

The entertainment was ok overall but a fantastic live band called the mood icons played most nights in the sky lounge.

Good Points: Again we cannot stress enough the layout, cleanliness and beauty of this ship.

The food in the oceanview and silhouette restaurants was first class and we did not feel the need to visit any speciality restaurants throughout the cruise.

In general the staff were very polite and courteous with a few More exceptions which we put down to bad training

Bad Points: The only bad points are really down to staff attitude. We had a drinks package and would have expected the sommelier to have visited our table and offer us wine. On two successive nights in the silhouette restaurant this did not happen and when asked why his response led to an argument taking place at the side of our table in full view and providing entertainment for other diners nearby. When this wasn,t resolved the wine manager and the dining room manager were all at the table side trying to make excuses for the sommelier. This was all very embarrassing to the extreme and left us feeling uncomfortable using the dining room thereafter.

Also our stateroom attendant was reluctant to leave essentials in our bathroom{hair caps, shampoo}having to be asked for them on various occasions.

Disembarkation was easy and we were bused to Marco Polo airport in Venice. This airport is way below the standard required for the amount of people using it and with low ceilings and lack of air-con was a bit of a nightmare. Less
