June 8th- June 15th

Sail Date: June 2014
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Port Canaveral

We have sailed on Royal Caribbean, as well as Costa, & Carnival. We had a wonderful time on our cruise! The Freedom of the seas is a beautiful ship! We loved the promanade and layout of the ship. The beds are very comfortable and all of the staff were friendly!

We rented a over the water cabana in Haiti, this was Awesome and we will do that again if we go there again!

We did a private tour with Liberty tours in Jamaica to the secret water falls (or blue hole). The tour guides were great but the water falls are not a secret anymore! It was more crowded than I expected it to be. Those of us that were able to climb the falls and jump had a blast! My poor mom, 2 year old niece, and sister-in-laws mother had to wait in the heat for us. This is not an excursion for anyone that would have problems with their knees or ankles.

In the Cayman Islands we used Soto tours (we used them in 2007 also). They are a great tour company. We went to a reef snorkeling and then More to stingray city. Even with the rain we had a great time!

We just walked around Cozumel.

Entertainment:

The comedians were great and so were the singers. My kids enjoyed watching How to train a dragon 2. We spent some time in the casino and enjoyed the pools with the belly flop contest and volleyball tournament.

Food:

The food in the main dining room was usually great. If you wanted anything later at night the only choices were pizza or limited room service (for a fee after midnight), or Johnny rockets until midnight for a fee. Also lunch did not start until 11:30, 11:45 in main dining room.

Pictures:

They had short picture times. Formal night we wanted to start early because we had a large group but pictures didn't start until 5:00. Only 30 minutes with long lines. We decided to try after we ate but they closed the pictures again tell 7:00.

Nothing that would ruin my vacation but things other people may like to know. Less
