Cruise with Costa Pacifica

Sail Date: June 2014
Destination: Baltic Sea
Embarkation: Other

Itinerary was great, seen 8 different countries. We were in a port port every day except 1 day at sea. We started in Copenhagen, took a train to kiel and embarked with ease. The ship was spacious. costa is on the lower end of quality so I didnt have high expectations. The food was bland and the most disturbing issue was charging for water at dinner, who does that. Entertainment was elementary with the exception of the singing. And dancing. I was quite disappointed in the attitude of staff. Very few greeted you with a smile or didnt even acknowledge you unless you spoke to them first. Specifically the entertainment team. Also if you pointed out an issue staff would argue with as opposed.to fixing . Such as I ordered 2 pancakes, they brought me 2 plates. I indicated I justed wanted 2. Their response was you order 2 orders you have to eat it. Never saw the Cruise Director anywhere on the ship except introducing the entertainment. Minimal activities on the ship compared to other cruises. More Only had pizza available after dinner. If youbdidnt make it to your assigned dinner then you have to wait till 930 for pizza only. The training for staff was poor which started at the top with Captain. He didnt even acknowledge you unless you said something to him. I would not repeat with Costa Less
