We sailed June 7th, the ship is beautiful and the cabins clean and new. The common areas are to small for the amount of people on board.
This was the first time we went on a mega ship, we have done many that accommodate 2000-2500. This was are first that could accommodate 4000+. The embarkation and debarkation were flawless, Port of Miami knows what they are doing.
The pool was so crowded it was miserable. For a ship that bases it whole theme about miami and sun and fun, it could not accommodate the masses poolside. They would be better off sending the ship to Alaska where fewer use the pool.
Shows were very good, the venues even better.
The staff was hit or miss, pool staff very happy and upbeat, specialty restaurants and cabin stewards the same. The regular restaurants and management in those dining were miserable. Casino staff were mixed.
Food was fair at best, it was usually cold. Each person at the table served at different times. The best meal was at the Irish pub on Prime Rib night. Beautifully cooked and nice thick cut upon my request. The staff at the pub was much happier than the regular dining room staff and that helped as well.
I still love the anytime dining, blows away having to be in a dining room at a specific time.
