We just returned from our Bermuda cruise 6/8 - 6/15 on the Norwegian Breakaway. We had a mini-suite on deck 9. I am a 50 year old women and I took my twin 20 years olds, this is my fifth cruise. Everything was absolutely perfect. The room was big enough, all three of us hung out on the balcony numerous times a day and there was enough room for us. There are two chairs and a little table. The mini-suite has a great bathroom with a wonderful shower. We ate in the Brazilian restaurant and the French restaurant. Both were great the meat in the Brazilian was wonderful wasn't crazy about the desserts though. However, the desserts in the French restaurant were unforgettable. In the French restaurant they let me get two orders of appetizers so I could share my escargot with the kids, I also got two desserts including the chocolate fondue with the fruit which was amazing. The rest of the days we ate in the Manhatten room or Taste or Savor. They all had the same menu except I believe the Manhattan room has an extra entrée and dessert choice. I had prime rib, chateubraun, Tuesday night is lobster tail night in the buffet. All the food was amazing and wonderful and the service was impeccable. The Manhattan room was nice because two times they had the Burn the Floor dancers perform while you ate. Once they did Spanish dances and the other night they did swing dances. They are incredible and we liked that show the most. We also saw Cirque de soleil, Rock of Ages, Second city and the comedian/magician. Kids loved the ropes course and the slides. Only complaint is with the phone applications. I wanted the service that I could text my kids on the ship, even though I paid $7.95 a phone it wasn't working. I went to guest relations on day 3 and got a full refund of the $24. I ended up never needing to text the kids as we enjoyed the whole cruise as a family together. Didn't do any excursions took the bus to Horseshoe Bay on Wednesday and then to Hamilton. Thursday went to the little beach snorkel beach and did kayaking. Friday went shopping.

I have an issue with Norwegian themselves and their pricing structure. I booked directly through Norwegian. Got a price in January. Went to book first week in February, price went up by $800. I settled for a lesser room and then kept checking the prices. Whenever my current room would be cheaper than I paid I would call Norwegian and they gave me an upgrade. Example, an entry level balcony room for three was $3,800 in February but went down to $2,400 in May. I ended up with the mini suite so I was happy, but in March I wasn't happy when I paid more for a room. In conclusion, ship is beautiful, food was fantastic. service was top notch.
