Good value with all inclusive

Sail Date: June 2014
Destination: Baltic & Northern Europe
Embarkation: Dover

Disappointed that had to park away from previous on site parking.

Cabin small but had all needed. Had packed way too much stuff as there were two small wardrobes, three drawers in desk and two very small drawers in each bedside table. Shower about 85 by 65 cm. First stop Stavanger, weather glorious.Just had a walk around town and lake and visited old town to see the wooden houses. Next stop Flam. We didn't book trip till week before and by then morning trips were sold out so booked pm. Once on board very few slots available and three ships in port so people trying to book independently were mostly disappointed. Enjoyed the train trip and the waffles at hotel were delicious, also free WiFi available. Rather a long wait for return train and we only just got the train at 12.20 as the tendering was taking so long. Eidford was third stop and weather was not kind. Had intended to do 90 minute walk, map available from tourist info, but was too wet. If you buy something at tourist More info, even a postcard, can use free WiFi.

Thought the food was rather uninspiring but the drinks package was excellent.

The two crew shows were excellent and the only other show I saw was OK.

Disembarkation was fine until got ashore. The port parking was an absolute shambles with mini buses taking drivers to collect their seagull excrement covered cars from the parking area. There was no information about the system and many elderly people were left standing for a long time.

Would I cruise with Fred again? Only with a £10 a day (or less) drinks package. Less

Cabin review: Braemar 3075

Cabin compact but had all needed for six nights and had packed way too much stuff. Had to leave a lot in the case. Hand soap and shower gel provided. Had twin beds made into double which had two separate duvets. Bed comfortable. Curtains could do with being thicker as nights very short.
