Ship Facts: Celebrity Reflection Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Reflection Deck Plans
Fabulous Med Cruise

Embarkation - The cruise rep could not locate our suite reservation. Had to wait while she prepared new cards (which simply stated Aqua Class). Asked if our beverage packages were noted on the cards she said yes.

Sunset Bar - While awaiting for our suite to be ready we decided to have a cocktail at the Sunset Bar. When I presented our cards the bartender the presented me with a bill. I informed him that we both had a beverage package. He told me to see guest services. After 30 minutes of sorting out the issue I presented the bartender with our revised cards and he reversed the cocktail charge. Not impressed.

Aqua Class Suite 2165 - Great location port side near elevators on deck 12 which was an easy walk up to deck 14 for pool and Oceanview Cafe. Cabin was spacious with plenty of storage. Bathroom included tub/shower combo. Would have preferred a larger shower as there is not time to linger in a tub while on a Med cruise.

Opus Main Dining - We opted for select seating and were always accommodated but not necessarily with the best table location. Should have been better as were suite guests. Food quality has improved since our sailing in January 2013.

Blu Restaurant - Available to Aqua Class guests was great for breakfast. Variety of menu selections and good service.

Tuscan Grill - Lovely restaurant and great service but found the menu lacking in pasta selections.

Qsine - Unique dining experience but too much food is served.

Murano - Fabulous dining experience; food, wine and service! The best (and largest) lamb chops I have ever had.

Condition of Ship - Overall the ship has been kept up nicely. The age is seen in the cushions on the chairs at the Sunset Bar and Pool Bar areas.

Martini Bar - Great group of bartenders, very entertaining and service oriented.

Santorini - (Tenders) It is good that the ship arrived in Santorini in the afternoon so we avoided long lines at the cable car. A bit of a long walk to the taxi station but were lucky to hire a car for a tour to Oia and back. Oia is stunning and was quite crowded for early in the season. Unfortunately it became cloudy and did not witness the famed sunset.

Istanbul - Unfortunately a cool and rainy day so did not venture off as we had been to Istanbul previously.

Mykonos - (Tenders) Charming seaside village but not as nice as Santorini.

Athens - Hired a private car (Private Greece Tours) and spent the day touring sites and stopping at the Plaka for cool beverages. Would recommend Private Greece Tours.

Naples/Amalfi Coast - Hired a private car (Rome in Limo) for a full day tour. Started at the Herculaneum in Ercolano. This site is in a seedy area of town and was fair at best. The driver then took us up the Amalfi Coast which was beautiful but the traffic was horrendous. The only way to get to Positano was to park car and walk not what we expected with a private car. We only had time to stop at one ceramic shop and lunch in Ravello. The return drive to the port was long and boring. Would not recommend Rome in Limo as it was over priced (550 Euro).

Disembarkation - Fairly organized but private drivers were parked a fair distance from terminal. The airport in Rome needs major renovation, limited number of restaurants and old unkept airport lounges.
