Ship Facts: Sea Princess Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Sea Princess Deck Plans
Great time

We took our first ever cruise last week. June 1-7 2014. We had a fantastic time. Sea Princess was beautiful. There was three of us. My wife, son and myself. As our son is only 3 years old we were a bit worried about taking him to sea. Turns out that was wasted energy. The ship was very safe for kids and he loved the kids club. Staff there are great. Kids are signed in by their parent or guardian and signed out again. You are given a pager should there be a need to call you. The club is locked by the staff so the kids can't get out and no one can get in. Cabin was clean and functional, bed comfortable, shower was great too. We had an obstructed view, but it was still nice to get daylight coming in. Tim the cruise director did a fantastic job and was really funny. Our cabin attendant Boni was unreal. Nothing was too much trouble for him. These guys work real hard and are on the ship for nine and a half months straight. We thought the food was excellent. Restaurants are first class and the buffet is a food feast, however it was a bit difficult to find a seat in the busy times. Solution, go there either before or just after regular meal times and there are plenty of seats available. There is so much to do on board that it is nearly impossible to get to everything. Your days are never boring. The shows are very entertaining and professional. Can't comment on booze as we don't drink, but one guy I met had run up a tab of $600 bucks in 4 days. He was having a ball. We did our own thing on the shore excursions as we could not afford the Princess tours. We hired a car for the whole day in Villa and it cost us $200. Stanley was the guys name and he took us everywhere we wanted to go and he was waiting for us when we finished doing what we were doing. Would highly recommend him to anyone stopping in Villa. Just ask anyone for him as soon as you are out the port gate. They all know him there. All in all we loved our cruise and cannot wait to go again.
