Celebrity Equinox .... Venice to Istanbul
After a few days in Venice we set sail and had a wonderful sail away in the Sunset bar with numerous cruise critic members .
Stateroom Aqua class number 1501 right above the bridge with great views our stateroom attendant Josephino
was attentive and met every requirement .
Room was up to usual standard ,plenty of storage etc.
On the first morning at breakfast we met Fred and Cath a couple from Edinburgh which we mety at Amsterdam airport 4 years ago on our first cruise on the sister ship the Solstice.It was a great start to our cruise.
The blu resturant staff very knowledgeable about the Menu espicially Danial our waiter,the food was to the prevous standard .Try the Tuna excellant.
Staff at the Cafe El Banco how can I put this there are the best every time after the first few days they almost knew what you wanted before you did from the coffee to the speciallty tea all I can say is wonderful
We met a couple from Liverpool More Paul and Carol well the just raved about the cruise the way We did after our first Celebrity cruise and just could not get enough of the service from the martini bar to the sunset bar .
The new Gastro pub was a great venue to watch the Champions league final service was fast and efficiant.
Six of us dined in Merano it was a great experiance from the first moment to the last drop of wine what a wonderful evening .
Cruise director Josh always had time to talk with you and would sit for some time nothing was to much bother and would take your points on board.
Also the senior officer cocktail party was the best attended we've ever been at.the officers made it extra special.
We Just cant wait until September until our Azores cruise on the Eclipise. Less
